Spears and Sam Asghari submitted an agreement for dividing up their assets to a judge for approval, according to documents filed in a Los Angeles court on Thursday (US time), nine months after they separated.
The filings gave few details but said neither Spears nor Asghari will get future spousal support. Asghari had said in his initial petition that he would seek financial support. Any future disputes would need to be settled in private arbitration.
A judge is likely to sign off on the stipulated solution soon and declare both of them single.
Emails seeking details or comment from lawyers for both Spears and Asghari were not immediately returned.
The two had no children together, so no custody agreement was necessary. Spears wrote in her memoir published in 2023 that she and Asghari had a miscarriage early in a pregnancy about a month before they married.
'Blackout' by Britney Spears has now surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. It's the Princess of Pop's fifth album to reach this milestone.
Black wants Spears to collaborate with him and Tenacious D's Kyle Gass.
High kicks. Cameos. Guitar solos. Leading man. There's not much Jack Black can't do (or, at least, there's not much he won't try). Add covering Britney Spears to the list. Last week, Jack Black and Tenacious D bandmate Kyle Gass covered "...Baby One More Time" and shared it on social media.
Now, he's letting the '00s icon know what a big fan he is. "Britney, if you're watching, I love you. I love the song," Black told Entertainment Tonight at the L.A. premiere of Kung Fu Panda 4.
"We're very proud of it, [and] I hope you like it, too," Black said, addressing Spears.
ET's Cassie DiLaura pointed out that Spears also likes posting dance videos to Instagram, and the two should collaborate. "I'm here! I'm ready when you are. I'm waiting by the phone," Black said, again addressing Spears. DiLaura observed how Black's famous high kicks could be a potential draw for Spears, which he did not need to be asked to demonstrate. "I got kicks!" Black responded. "I don't quite have Britney kicks, but you know, I got some moves."
Black was there to celebrate the newest installment of the Kung Fu Panda franchise, which marks his 16th year in the role of Po the Dragon Warrior. Kung Fu Panda was released in 2008. The movie has been followed by many films, a TV show, a video game, a music video, and short films.
"I didn't realize at the time [of getting the role] that this was gonna be a role that I'd play half my life," he said, before stopping himself. "That's being generous, though. It's not quite half my life. I'm 54. But still, a lot of my life."
Kung Fu Panda 4 arrives in theaters on March 8.

After 30 years in the industry, Markus remains the photographer all celebrities want to work with; he has collaborated with Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Anne Hathaway, Kate Winslet, David Bowie and Iman, Kim Kardashian and many, many more.
You'll know his work even if you don't know it's by Markus, as he shot two of the the most famous album covers of all time, Dangerously in Love, and Mariah Carey's The Emancipation of Mimi, as well as Britney Spears' Onyx Tour pictures.
"When you work on these major productions with a big celebrity, there's a lot of people involved, and most of the time this is not a problem," Markus said of working with Britney in 2004, who at the time was not yet under the controversial conservatorship that marked 15 years of her life until 2023.
"So when Britney Spears entered my studio in 2004 she was accompanied by her dad and her manager Larry Rudolph and quite a large team – but everyone was sent off to play chess in a back room, and we really talked about her ideas.
"She had scribbled some notes on a napkin, some ideas she had for her tour – 'Enchanted Forest' and the 'Ice Princess,' keywords like that – and I showed her the ideas I had prepared and it became a wonderful moment where she channeled all of these personas for those pictures that have become iconic.
"We had a blast; she was very sexy and super smart. She understood exactly what I wanted from her and we worked until three o'clock in the morning and nobody interfered and it was just an incredibly fantastic time. She's a super bright and Incredibly talented artist… I've been recently talking to her team about doing a 20th anniversary thing with her, but I am still waiting to hear back."
