Mariah Bell had quite the weekend at the US Figure Skating National Championships, taking home a personal best silver medal thanks to two gorgeous routines. The crowd gave a standing ovation for her long program, a spell-binding skate set to k.d. lang's cover of "Hallelujah." But Mariah had already roped us in on night one with a full-on dance party of a routine set to a mashup of the Britney Spears hits "Radar" and "Work." And if that wasn't enough, we also found out that the program was choreographed by the one and only Adam Rippon, bronze medalist from the 2016 Olympics. Simply put, the whole thing is just a combination made in figure skating heaven.

At Nationals, Mariah's short program was only marred by a stumble during her choreography section, but she's performed it to perfection throughout the season, often with Adam cheering from the sidelines. And, we were lucky enough that the choreographer himself posted some behind-the-scenes content to his YouTube channel, showing us just how much work goes into developing a figure skating routine. Mariah's triple flips and triple toeloops are pretty impressive, but our personal favorite parts have got to be Mariah's perfectly on-the-beat hair flips; Britney would definitely approve! Watch Adam's behind the scenes vlog and footage of Mariah's pop-perfection skate ahead, then make sure to check out more incredible routines from Nationals, including Alysa Liu's historical performance and Gracie Gold's emotional comeback.
