Asghari, who plays Kamal in the Taylor Sheridan series, lovingly refers to Spears as his "lioness."
In a much-needed win for the ever-shifting Yellowstone universe, Mr. Britney Spears made quite the entrance, sans clothing, in Episode 3 of Taylor Sheridan's spy thriller Special Ops: Lioness. Sam Asghari, who wed Spears in June 2022, plays inveterate womanizer Kamal in the Paramount+ series, which stars Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman as CIA operatives on an all-female undercover team.
Asghari's splashy Special Ops: Lioness debut involved a lot of water, no shirt and some not-so-subtle hints that his character Kamal is a Lothario of the highest order. Showing off his toned physique, all eyes are on Kamal as he cannonballs into the swimming pool during an Episode 3 party. Aaliyah (Stephanie Nur), who's engaged to Kamal's brother, informs an undercover Cruz (Laysla De Oliveira) of Kamal's playboy ways with a few of her close friends. The scene prompts one partygoer to remark, "Why does God only give the best bodies to jerks?" He also made an appearance in last night's Episode 4.
Asghari, 29, wed Britney Spears, 41, in June 2022. His casting in Special Ops: Lioness was announced in November of that year.
Asghari reposted the news of his casting to Instagram in November 2022, writing, "It's a pleasure to join such a badass cast." A few days after that, he shared a cheeky video from set in which he can be seen riding around on a tiny motorized scooter. "Is the scooter too small for me?" he joked in the caption.
The Iranian-born Asghari is a model and actor who made his onscreen debut in the 2019 rom-com Can You Keep a Secret?, starring Alexandra Daddario and Tyler Hoechlin. He has appeared in episodes of Hacks, Black Monday and, most recently, in the Mel Gibson action movie Hot Seat.
Before their marriage, Spears and Asghari dated for five years. In the midst of Spears' legal challenge against the controversial conservatorship headed by her father, Asghari came out in support of his then-girlfriend. In December 2021, he referred to Spears as his "lioness" in a loved-up Instagram photo of the pair, writing that her "relentless strength" inspired him.

Britney Spears is back on the Billboard charts, and on at least one ranking, she rules the game. This week, the singer claims the No. 1 spot on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales ranking with her latest collaboration, "Mind Your Business.” The tune is another duet with the talented frontman of Black Eyed Peas, Will.I.Am.
The song's ascent to the pinnacle of the chart comes as no huge surprise, given Spears' track record of chart-topping hits and her undeniable star power.
"Mind Your Business" debuts at No. 1 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart, the ranking of the bestselling tunes in America that can be labeled either dance or electronic. The song opens with a sales figure of over 4,600 copies, as reported by Luminate.
To put this achievement into perspective, the second bestseller on the chart this frame, "Real Hips 2" by Bandmanrill and DJ Sliink, pales in comparison, failing to even secure a spot within the top 50 bestselling tunes in the United States. Will.I.Am and Spears' collaborative effort has not only triumphed but has done so by a significant margin, perhaps outselling its closest rivals many times over.
"Mind Your Business" nearly achieved the status of a top 10 bestseller across all genres. The song debuts at No. 12 on the Digital Song Sales chart, missing out on entering the highest echelons of this all-encompassing tally by around 1,200 copies.
Spears' latest triumph adds yet another jewel to her crown when it comes to the Billboard rankings, as it marks her fourth No. 1 hit on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart. This winning streak started in 2011 with "Till the World Ends" and was followed by "Scream & Shout," another collaboration with Will.I.Am, in 2013. Spears once again clinched the top spot just last year with "Hold Me Close," a duet with the legendary Elton John.
"Mind Your Business" contributes to Spears’s record of a dozen top 10 hits on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart. This tally has become very familiar to the pop sensation throughout her career. Will.I.Am, on the other hand, has reached the summit of this chart only twice, and both instances have been alongside Spears. His five top 10 victories include notable collaborations with artists such as Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, as well as another successful partnership with Spears in the form of "It Should Be Easy."

Lance shared photos of B meeting the 20-month-old twins, Violet Betty and Alexander James, on Twitter Monday.
“I’m a new auntie for Lance’s babies !!! They are absolutely gorgeous babies !!!” Spears wrote on Twitter.
As seen in both of the sweet snapshots, Spears happily smiled as she held each twin in her arms while Bass, 44, carried the respective other. The singer’s husband Sam Asghari was also pictured standing next to his wife.
“Mind your business, bitch.” So Britney Spears purrs on her new single with will.i.am, aptly titled “Mind Your Business.” Released today, the electro-pop dance track is already garnering chatter online, given it’s one of Spears’s first musical endeavors since her 2016 album Glory (she also released “Hold Me Closer” with Elton John last summer).
As it turns out, the song was mined from the duo’s archives. “Will is an incredible artist and partner,” Spears tells Vogue. “We worked on this song years ago, and it was time re-produce it and share it with my incredible fans.” The track originally stemmed from a conversation the two stars were having about fame, and the lack of privacy that often comes with it. “Every single person, famous and not, has their privacy invaded in some shape or form in this digital age,” says will.i.am. “It’s a sentiment for the times, so we should be more humane to each other, respect and have empathy for each other, and be thankful for what people choose to share publicly. If people don’t want to share, we need to respect their right not to share, and to have a private life.”
It’s not the first track will.i.am and Spears have released together. “Working with her is like teaming up with a kindred spirit: We both love music and the art of expressing ourselves,” says will.i.am. They first collaborated on 2011’s “Big Fat Bass,” and followed that up with their 2013 club-ready banger “Scream & Shout” and “It Should Be Easy.” With “Mind Your Business,” the pair wanted to bring some of that 2010s lighthearted-pop energy into the present. “We went back and forth on making the song more current, and adding a heavy base and choir to it,” says Spears. “It’s fun, campy, and edgy—a perfect song for the summer.” Will.i.am adds, “Britney had some great input about the music, to add hip-hop elements that we incorporated into the final track.”
And it’s the perfect moment for a new Spears single, given the ongoing fan and media speculation about her life since the end of her conservatorship in 2021. Her message to the world is clear in the song: “Mind your B, mind your B, mind your B,” Spears sings, poking fun at the relentless public fascination around her. “Uptown, downtown, everywhere I turn around; Hollywood, London, snap-snap is the sound; paparazzi shot me, I am the economy.” (Her desire for privacy is a theme Spears also explored in her anti-tabloid hit “Piece of Me” back in 2007.) “If you are a person like Britney who can’t even go to the supermarket without cameras or someone wanting to know every single step she takes, that’s horrible,” says will.i.am. “Everyone can relate to their privacy being undermined—and that’s ‘Mind Your Business.’”

Is minding your business not a perfect summer mood, though? Summer, after all, is about drinking margaritas, laying out in the sun, and living a carefree lifestyle. In the case of our legendary Princess of Pop—who recently announced that her memoir, The Woman in Me, will be out in October—more people should definitely be minding their business; let her live, post her epic Instagram dance sequences, and carry out her tropical vacations in peace. Still, Spears says the release of her new pop track is dedicated to all of her beloved fans. “I love my fans more than anything,” she says, “and hope they love the song, too!” They clearly do: It’s already climbing the charts.
