Fans of The X Factor might finally have a reason to hope for a comeback, but only on one very specific condition!
In a recent conversation about her future in music and television, Demi Lovato addressed whether she would ever return to a judging seat on a singing competition. Her answer was simple: “I would only return if Britney Spears was a judge next to me.”
Demi and Britney famously shared the screen back in 2012 during the second season of the U.S. version of The X Factor. Despite rumors of behind-the-scenes drama at the time, Demi has always spoken highly of her bond with the "Princess of Pop," describing Britney as "quirky," "sweet," and "down-to-earth."
While Britney left the show after just one season to focus on her music, Demi stayed on for a second year. However, it seems the experience wasn't the same without her superstar partner.
Now, with both stars at much different places in their lives in 2026, the idea of them reuniting on a panel has sent social media into a frenzy.
