Jamie Lynn Spears is one proud sister!

On Wednesday, the country music singer-songwriter opened up about her older sister Britney Spears' triumphant night at last month's Billboard Music Awards.

"I was there – I was front-row, me and my daughter Maddie," Jamie Lynn, 25, told CMT on the CMT Music Awards red carpet. "Truthfully, we were just there to celebrate, and it was awesome, and she looked so hot!"

Britney received the Icon Award at the BBMAs, in addition to performing a show-stopping medley of her myriad hits, from "Work Bitch" to "Womanizer.

And Jamie Lynn said she'll leave the hardcore choreography and fancy footwork to her big sis.

"She's got it. I don't really like dancing – I'd prefer to never have to do it, unless it's with my little girl," she added of her 7-year-old daughter.

After her Nickelodeon series Zoey 101 wrapped in 2008, Jamie Lynn took a break to focus on motherhood before launching her country music career in 2013, the same year she appeared on her sister's duet "Chillin' with You."

In 2014, she released her debut EP, The Journey; last year, country star Jana Kramer released her hit "I Got the Boy," co-written by Jamie Lynn; and in March, she performed at the Grand Ole Opry.

Up next, the former child star will appear in a TLC documentary. Focusing on her life leading up to and after her pregnancy, Jamie Lynn Spears: When the Lights Go Out will air on June 26.

"I wanna do something that I'm gonna be proud of," the singer-songwriter said in a promo for the show. "I'm not just a child star. I'm not just someone's sister. And I'm not just a teen mom."
