Robbie Williams wanted to do a duet with Britney Spears.
The 45-year-old Take That superstar revealed the unexpected collaboration aspirations for his new Christmas album The Christmas Present during an interview with Vice
During the interview, he admitted the only song he wasn't able to do was The Pogues' “Fairytale of New York.”
“I wanted to do it with Britney Spears, but she’s not working, unfortunately,” he revealed.
Back in September, Britney updated fans during her ongoing indefinite work hiatus: “I hope y’all haven’t forgotten about me!!! I’m taking this transition in my life to focus on what I really want. I’ve been working nonstop, well, since I was 8 years old in the business. Sometimes it’s good to stop and reflect !!!!" she said.
