Britney Spears is opening up about life as a single mom.

The "Slumber Party" singer reveals that although it can be hard raising her two boys, 11-year-old Sean Preston and 10-year-old Jayden, on her own, they're her No. 1 priority.

"My kids come first, always," Spears, 35, says in a new interview with People. "There is nothing more rewarding than being a mom and watching my sons grow into young men."

"I am so lucky that I get to experience all of life's adventures with them," she adds.

Spears shares her kids with ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she split with in 2007. Though the two have remained amicable for their children, the pop star admits co-parenting isn't always easy.

"The balance between work and my personal life can be a challenge [as a single mom]," she explains. "I always do my best to plan my schedule around my family whenever possible."

And judging by her Instagram, that certainly shines through. Spears is constantly sharing sweet snaps and highlights from play dates with her boys on Instagram, gushing over them in the captions.

"I love watching them play sports and just running around with them," she says. "We have a lot of fun together. We love having a beach day together."

"I have always taught them that beauty comes from within," she continues.
